Every time I breathe in, I am exercising ‘faith’ that the air I breathe will be rich in oxygen. Each time I flip a light switch, I exercise ‘faith’ that the light will illuminate the room.
You see, having moved the air into and out of my lungs over the course of my lifetime has built up in me the belief that it will continue to nourish my body with life sustaining oxygen. The longer my experience, the deeper and stronger my belief and the deeper my faith in breathing becomes.
Faith in breathing is belief, proven out over the course of my years that, air will move in and out, and from it I will receive the oxygen my body needs for life.
Faith in God is not all that different.
